Living Things Legacy

Activities, Exercises, and Therapies which Enhance the Free Expression of Innate Physiological Automaticities Emerging from the Root of All Living Things

PERSISTENCE THROUGH TIME
Perhaps more than 50% of the core of all living things has the same genetic structure. As almost all forms of life are not creatures that move, this genetic core relates to maintaining the processes of life not related to movement. In humans, these processes are those we recognize as our gut functions, which are regulated by our Parasympathetic Nervous System.

These living systems express in either an open or closed state (dynamic or static state), dependent upon sensory inputs which are dominantly for photo-sensing, olfactory or vibrational stimuli. Common to all of these senses is that they monitor the boundary of the organism in the present moment – responding internally to external stimuli. This “duality” is perhaps the most fundamental archetype of cognition. Some examples:
RESPONSIVE/REACTIVE
CHALLENGED/OVERWHELMED
OPPORTUNITY/PROBLEM
